The Port Pirie Diocesan Assembly is held annually, normally the Tuesday and Wednesday before Holy Week, and concludes with the celebration of the Chrism Mass where the Holy Oils are given to all the Priests of the Diocese to take back to their Parishes, to use in their ministries throughout the year.
The Assembly is the one time in the year that we have an opportunity to come together to hear from the many areas of our Diocese on a personal level. Approximately 200 people attend from all regions of our Diocese.
