On Friday 13th of December, in Cathedral church of the Archdiocese of Davao in the Philippines we celebrated priestly ordination of Fr Leo Mascardo. The call to serve as a priest is both a profound responsibility and a gift, and we entrust Fr Leo to God’s guidance in fulfilling His will.
Bp Karol, Bp Greg, all our Filipino Priests and a small delegation from our Diocese went to Davao for this ordination. Abp Romulo Valles, Archbishop of Davao welcomed them with the great hospitality and provided all support in preparation for this ordination.
On Sunday 15th of December Fr Leo celebrated his first Mass in his home parish.
It was also a good opportunity for meeting parents and family members of our Filipino Priests.
